Cathy has over 30 years experience in the healthcare industry. Cathy is a nationally recognized expert in medical practice revenue cycle management, EMS coding and billing, process improvement, and quality/Incentive payments. Cathy serves as the CEO for Optysuite which provides revenue cycle management; consulting, office management, auditing, and charge capture solutions. Cathy continues to work as a nurse practitioner in the emergency department. Cathy received the Nurse Practitioner of the Year Award from both the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2003. Cathy is the past President of Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and remains active as a reimbursement expert. Cathy holds degrees from Schoolcraft Community College, University of Michigan, Michigan State University and Central Michigan University.
Heather brings almost 20 years of experience in medical billing. Heather is an expert on claims processing, denial management and system design. Heather is our “go to” for complex issues with claims processing. Heather also oversees the credentialing area. Outside of work, Heather stays very busy with her sons’ sporting activities. Sun, rain or snow!
Gina has over 15 years of billing experience. Gina is a billing detective….she searches/researches until the case is solved! Her positive approach to client relationships by keeping clients well informed has helped Optysuite maintain its long-term clients. Gina is also in charge of ordering our lunches. Meals are very important to Gina! Taking her kids to a variety of events brings her great joy.
